Standard patch cable connectors are R/A to R/A
(R/A= Right angle) These work great for patching pedals with the same style jacks like boss style pedals or electro harmonix pedals where the jacks are located at the top of the chassis instead of the side. 6" to 8" is adequate for patching standard pedals together as shown in the picture to the left.
"S" cables are excellent for patching pedals that have the in/output jacks on the top side to pedals that have in/out jacks on the side of the chassis. These come in handy for saving space!! Please shoot an email to info@nortoncable.com for more details!!
Here is a good example on how to really save pedalboard real-estate with "S" cables- as you can see in the picture we've patched a Standard sized fuzz pedal to a wah with Norton low profile connectors, Sommer goblin cable, the side profile of the connector is less than .25"
